MPN holds weekly networking meeting for small groups (of 5 to 15 people), bi-weekly workshops on topics of interest to job seekers, and quarterly soirées for current and past members.

Weekly meetings focus on developing an effective network and job-search strategy. George Mercer, a copywriter and career coach, facilitates these meetings, as he has for nearly ten years. This guidance ensures that members have an opportunity to:

• Share experiences
• Learn job-hunting techniques
• Exchange job leads and news of local companies that might be hiring
• Network with fellow members

In addition, all members receive a directory of current members and gain access to job leads sent in to MPN. These are distributed via e-mail as soon as they come in.
